Seem's like most photo albums have pictures of flowers and my album is no different. Here are pictures of flowers I have taken over the years, most are from around my house.
I was in the Navy for 10 years, 6 of those year crusing around the globe on two different ships - the USS Shreveport (LPD-12) out of Norfolk, Va and the USS Mount Vernon (LSD-39) out of San Diego Ca. I also did 4 years in the Navy Reserve while going to college.

Where I live in Lafayette, Oregon we are surrounded by some of Oregons finest vineyards and wineries. This is a collection of pictures I have taken over the years of the area, most are from those in the Yamhill county area of Oregon about 30 to 45 minutes south west of Portland.
On Sept 3rd of 2008 our manager treated us to a game of golf thinking that it would build team moral. We had 3 groups tee off that afternoon playing 9 holes at Heron Lakes. We had stories to tell for many meetings after that day and the moral - well, we know who hooks and who slices and everyone seemed to be a club short.
The Northwest Antique Airplane Club had their annual fly-in at the McMinnville Airport. These are pictures of some of the planes, a lot had already left by the time we got there. There is also some pictures of the new Evergreen Space Museum which is next to the Evergreen Air Museum which is home to Howard Huge's Spruce Goose.
Once a year they bring truck loads of sand to Pioneer Courthouse Square in downtown Portland for an event called "Sand in the City" benefiting Kids on the Block.

We stayed at the Black Walnut Inn for Alicia's birthday weekend. It’s located in the hills north of Dundee, Oregon in the heart of the Oregon wine country. The views are absolutely stunning, very quiet, roomy, hospitable, and the breakfasts fabulous. Highly recommended.
We had 2 young students from Japan stay with us during the end of March for a week. Our friends had also hosted 2 students. We had a blast showing them how Americans live.

Alicia and I spent our anniversary weekend in Astoria at the Cannery Pier Hotel the weekend of April 28/29 2007. We toured the city and walked to and climbed the Astoria Column.
Winterpalooza is a weekend retreat for the youth groups from Evergreen Christian Center. It started on Friday and ended on Sunday afternoon. This year the camp was held at Camp Cedar Ridge in Vernonia, Oregon.
